Book a table

1

Book by Thursday

Tables for two to eight. Fridays fill up by Wednesday, so earlier is better.

2

Or just turn up

We keep half the room for walk-ins from 5pm. Give your name and mobile at the door.

3

We text you

Go for a drink at the Red Lion over the road. We’ll text when your table’s ready.

4

Ninety seconds

That’s how long a pizza takes in the oven. The wait is for the table, not the food.

The dough

Forty-eight hours, then ninety seconds.

Our sourdough starter is older than the restaurant. The dough rests for two days before it’s stretched by hand, so it’s light, chewy and easy on the stomach. Then it goes into a 450° oven.

The wine

A short list that tastes of something.

Four natural wines by the glass or bottle, picked from small growers and changed with the seasons. There’s lager on tap and a lemon soda we make ourselves.

The kids

Bring them. Really.

High chairs, crayons, a kids’ menu from £7 and a ball of dough to squish while they wait. Sundays from 12, kids eat for £5 with every adult main.

Reviews

What the neighbours say.

Best margherita I’ve had outside Naples. The crust is something else.

Priya, regular since 2021

We queued on a Friday and the text came in twenty minutes. Pint over the road, then pizza. Perfect.

Sam & Jo

The kids got dough to play with and didn’t moan once. Small miracle.
